Pet CT Scanning

Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computerised Tomography (CT) are standard tools that allow clinicians to pinpoint the location of cancer within the body. The highly sensitive PET scan picks up the metabolic signal of actively growing cancer cells, and the CT scan provides a detailed picture of the internal anatomy that reveals the size and shape of abnormal cancerous growths.

We now have the latest GE 64 slice PET CT Scanner.  Each scan is dually reported by a Consultant Radiologist and a Consultant in Nuclear Medicine, ensuring the highest standards in patient care.
